SOLD--Authentic antique 17th century European Halberd with a broad central blade of diamond section and thickened point, a strongly crescentic axe-blade formed with notched lugs, a down curved shaped fluke, short conical socket and a pair of long straps on its original faceted wooden haft with domed head nails retaining remains of the original tassel. Condition: In its original untouched condition with an old dark patina, one of the lugs is missing, each of the straps is with one crack. Overall length: 207.5 cm (81 3/4 in). Length of the iron head from the tip of the spike to end of the socket: 34 cm (13 3/8 in).
