Authentic Antique 19th century Imperial Russian Cossacks sword Shashka in characteristic Caucasian form. Details: slightly curved single edged blade cut with two long fullers, the hilt with black horn grip-scales and hooked bifurcated gold gilt silver pommel decorated with knobbed pattern and pair of nielloed crescents, with its original leather covered wooden scabbard.
CONDITION: the scabbard in the lover part was broken and has an old repair.
MEASUREMENTS: overall length with the scabbard: 92 cm (36 ¼ in), the overall length without scabbard: 91,5 cm (36 in). |
