Two 17th– early 18th century Antique Chinese Ceramic Biscuit Figures of Buddhist Lions (Fu Dogs) Taper-Stick Holders. Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period (1662-1720).Each seated on a shaped rectangular plinth, the backs set with tall taper holders painted in green ochre and aubergine glazes, with opened mouths and long flowing manes and tails, their eyes moveable. Condition notes; one of the lions has an old repair (horizontal crack across the upper body) and two minor chips. 19,7cm (7 ¾ in) High.
