North American Indian Pouch of the 19th century with very intricate bead work. The floral beadwork on one side is complete, except for the fringe. One “leaf” on the other side has lost some of the beads. This is very fine work. Height: 6 ˝ inches. Width: 7 1/8 inches.We have found similar pouch listed in Christies catalog Important American Indian Art sale New York October 20-1994 (lot 96) in companion of another one for $1200. |
