Authentic Antique Sword 18th century European hussar Saber - Sabre. A plain iron stirrup hilt of typical eastern European hussar form with an almond shaped pommel, long langets, short quillon, and a knuckle bow. The wooden grip is covered in black leather and is bound with brass wire. A slightly curved single edged blade with three fullers executed in the 17th century hussar style. The heavy steel scabbard with suspension rings is most likely an early 19th century replacement. MEASUREMENTS:
