Antique Chinese Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD).archaic bronze wine vessel Hu of globular form rising to a flared neck, the sides cast with three raised horizontal ribs, flanked by taotie –masks suspended loose rings, the cover with three hooked ring flanges, the overall patina with areas of green encrustation . Bronze wine vessels were the symbol of the social status of the owner. Condition: very good condition considering its age, circa 2nd century .B.C. Height: 29,5cm (11 5/8in).
