This is a fragment of a larger 18th century European religious painting. The painting is very well painted in oil on wood with a gesso layer and depicts the thorn crowned head of Christ. Dimensions: 19 cmx11 cm (7 1/2 in x 4 1/4 in). The wood and the painting has been professionally conserved to protect from further deterioration
